Interpolating Measures for Subnormal Operators

This is a one page summary or abstract of a talk given at a mini-conference at Oberwolfach, Germany. The idea of an interpolating measure generalizes both the notion of an interpolating sequence and the notion of a bounded point evaluation. Thomson showed that all pure cyclic subnormal operators have bounded point evaluations. Feldman shows that there are many subnormal operators S with the property that S* has no eigenvalues (so S would have no bounded point evaluations), but S will have interpolating measures. Feldman asks if all subnormal operators have interpolating measures or not.
